Kajabi Pricing in 2026: What You Actually Pay, and How Creators Pay Less

Kajabi costs $179 to $499 per month at sticker prices, or $143 to $399 per month when billed annually (processing fees apply.) Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. The legitimate ways to pay less: annual billing, starting on a smaller plan, and an extended trial through membership programs like Creator Access Network.

What's included, and what costs extra

The subscription covers the platform itself: courses, memberships, coaching products, your website, email marketing, and checkout, with the limits in the table above. Two costs sit outside the subscription price.

  • Payment processing. Card processing through Kajabi Payments runs 2.9% + 30 cents per transaction on Basic, 2.8% + 30 cents on Growth, and 2.7% + 30 cents on Pro. That's in line with what Stripe charges anywhere else; no platform escapes card fees.
  • Third-party payment fees. If you process payments through a third-party provider (excluding PayPal) instead of Kajabi Payments, Kajabi adds its own fee on top: 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth, 0.5% on Pro. Practical read: use Kajabi Payments or PayPal unless you have a strong reason not to.

Keep what you make - there is no separate revenue share on your sales on Kajabi beyond those processing fees, which is not true of every competitor; some course platforms take a percentage of every sale on their cheaper plans.

Monthly vs annual: the real math

Annual billing is a 20% discount in exchange for commitment. On Basic that's $432 a year, on Growth $600, on Pro $1,200. The decision is about certainty, not math: if you're testing whether an online course business works at all, pay monthly for two or three months first. If you already have an audience and a product, the annual discount is money on the table.

Four legitimate ways to pay less for Kajabi

  1. Annual billing. 20% off every plan, as above. The single biggest lever, available to everyone.
  2. Start on the smallest plan that fits. Most first-time course creators do not need more than 5 products or 2,500 contacts on day one. Kajabi lets you upgrade any time, so start on Basic and let your revenue justify the upgrade as you grow.
  3. Use the trial, fully. Every plan includes 14 days free, and Kajabi periodically runs longer trial or discount promotions for new signups, although these are fairly rare. Use the trial to build your first product end to end before paying anything, so you understand how the platform works and what its pros/cons are to you.
  4. The Creator Access Network member offer. Members of Creator Access Network get an extended free trial, longer than the standard 14 days, with the exact terms shown inside the membership. That's meaningfully more time to build and launch before your first bill. Disclosure: CAN's own site runs on Kajabi, and Kajabi is a CAN partner.

What doesn't work: Promo codes from coupon sites. We checked the codes circulating for Kajabi while writing this, and none of them are live official discounts. Kajabi's discounts come from its own promotions and its partners, not from coupon codes.

Is Kajabi overpriced? An honest read

Kajabi is one of the most expensive tools in its category, and for a specific kind of creator it earns that. If you are actively selling courses, memberships, or coaching and you'd otherwise stitch together a website builder, an email platform, a course host, and a checkout tool, Kajabi replaces that whole stack for one price, and the math usually works out in its favor.

If that's not you, don't buy it. A creator who mainly needs a newsletter has cheaper, better-fit options in dedicated email platforms. A creator who just needs to sell a few digital downloads can do it for a fraction of the cost with a lightweight checkout tool. Kajabi's price only makes sense when you'll use most of what it bundles.

Who shouldn't buy Kajabi: Creators who simply don't need or aren't ready yet for all of the tools and features that Kajabi offers. The pricing is higher than many other sites in its category, so if you're not ready to invest in this aspect of your project, or if your incoming revenue is too low to justify the cost, you may want to start elsewhere.
